City Water Hook up-1998 Brave

Help!!! We are very new to RVing and this is our first motorhome.  Silly question but where is the city water hook up valve on a 1998 35' Brave? We figured out how to fill fresh water tanks and found a faucet near the gray and black water pump out but water hose doesn't fit right...anyone have a suggestion?  Please help we are leaving on our first trip in a few days......
