My new dinette table wobbles while we are sitting at it.  What should I do to make it more stable?  It is supposed to make a bed but we will never use it for that.  [There is no way an ordinary size person would fit there.]

There are (on mine) two locking levers.  One on top one on bottom.  If they are not seated correctly and tight the table will wobble.

With out more information it is hard to say what the problem is. Do you have a leg on the end of the table/away from the wall? Is this loose? You might be able to turn it and tighten up the screw.

Check that the mounting strip on the wall end of the table is secured tightly. There are 3-4 screws that have a tendency to loosen up.

Don't know if you have the same setup as mine...My table was also loose so I had to unscrew the circular metal mount on the floor and rotate it to a new position then rescrew it back to the wooden floor...

Seems the old wooden screw holes that secured the metal plate to the floor over time had lost their grip..

A simple repositioning of the screws did the trick

;D  Great suggestions, I just haven't had time to try them yet.
