Dometic frig. spark problem

The sparking point on the thermo-coupler  collects carbon or debris of some sort that keeps ignition from taking place. If I clean it off with a file it works fine but this has to be done several times a day now and keeps getting worse. Do I need to replace something to currect this.  Thanks all. Jim
 
That flame should be hot enough (blue) to prevent carbon build-up. If you can see the flame and it's yellow/orange it's probably not getting enough air/oxygen to burn efficiently and causing carbon.
