I wasn't thinking (not the first time)  I had the fridge and h20 heater on elect instead of gas. so no wonder the gen overloaded. i think the full output can be had if a person has a 20 amp adaptor to the rv plug.  the recp on the gen are 20 amp ( one blade sideways) or 15 amp both straight.  The generator  is super thanks Dick

The fridge isn't a huge load (300-400 watts) but the water heater is a killer.

Yes i saw my water heater has a 20a breaker for itself alone
