Flight over Quartzite today

Flying over the east side of Quartzite, a little windy but a good flight, RC plane is Radian glider with electric motor.

That was pretty cool! Landing sounded like a couple of mine when I had my Aeronca Champ!

Woohoo!! almost a little much, even for us pilots, but a ton of fun!!

But it really brings a perspective to how many people are out there....(I just always hate that much racket when I land, though; it usually mean I bent something important...  ;D )

We did a flight over Plomosa with a $7 HobbyKing camera mounted on a SlowStick (w/ Electonpusher on the sticks). We ran 3 flights: one with the camera on the leading edge of the wing, and the other 2 pointing straight down. Both are interesting but I need to edit the stream a little.

Next year it will be on a HD GoPro (already bought)
