We stayed overnight at the WalMart in Amarillo just off the interstate.  Within a short drive to the all you can eat steak house (if you eat their huge steak) and a very good sushi bar.

Watch out for Amarillo  Thats where I left my wife this past Mar and had to go back and get her.  After they listened to her in the Flying J  I think the National Guard was put on alert for me  So I went back  Man am I a dummy  LOl.
