Hello,

I have a 26' Sunnybrook. My question is, I am a hefty guy at 280 lbs. Is it safe for me to be up on the roof for maintenance purposes? I am a little leery of that much weight moving around up there.

The construction page of Sunnybrook's web site shows they use an aluminum cage, but they don't tell you how much weight it can carry on the roof.

At 280 I'd say be cautious how/where you set your feet, e.g.  no jumping,  ;D  don't put all your weight on one foot and watch for excessive flex.  In general, though, you should be OK.  Those roofs are actually quite sturdy.

You might lay down a 4' by 4' piece of 3/4" plywood to spread the load over a wider area.  It would more likely place the weight on more frame sections.
