If you've been waiting, and waiting, for Goodyear tires to start arriving, they are back to work from the strike and tires are arriving in the stores.  I just got 6 G670 RV tires today from Purcell Western States Tire in Phoenix today.  They only got 21 in so the quantities aren't large yet, but they are available again.

Yes, Goodyear tires are available, but when were they made? The dealer I spoke to told me, though it may be an urban legend, that 07 tires would not be available for months yet, and that they were using up July 06 tires. Of course, he reassured me that my warranty would not start till the tires were on the vehicle, but that was little comfort to me, since I don't want another blowout whether or not the tire is warrantied.
I have been thinking of moving to Michelin XZE tires for that reason. As it happens, all my tires were made in 00 when the chassis was built, so it's time for a new set.

Mine have a 0107 date code.  Can't get much newer than that.
