I wanted to try it but it's incompatible with several programs that I use, specifically my Internet Download Manager.  Check the google pages for the incompatibilities.  I then tried Copernic, but the lastest beta used too many resources (750MB RAM, not just virtual memory) that I removed it.  I'm now running Yahoo Desktop Search and it seems much easier on the system than Copernic (only 7MB RAM and 12MB virtual).

A desktop search engine is nice, but be sure to put the index on a parition with lots of room.  The indexes can get quite large.

I found this buried way in the back of the lists. Its funny how something so new at that time has become such a popular word that it was made a verb and put into the dictionary. Who back then knew Google would have become such a big thing?
