What is Fishmas? According to the Sierra Drifters Guide, "It is a jolly old time of year when the trout stack up like cords of wood in McGee Bay on Crowley Lake and bite the flies into pieces, the weather is absolutely divine and bait fishing is NO LONGER allowed as of August first (Fishmas day)."
