I love leftovers. Especially hot turkey sandwiches
I have some turkey leftover too. I like that idea. I will be making some also.

The state that most of our turkeys come from I doubt many would guess:

Minnesota!

I wonder if that has something to do with the term "cold turkey!" :)

The RV park I'm at had a potluck for Thanksgiving. It was great, but since it was a potluck, I'll miss out on the leftovers. I may get a turkey breast next time I go to the store and cook it so I can have sandwiches. They're always my favorite, too.

When my son started carving the smoked bone-in ham I brought, he wanted to know if I was going to take the ham bone home with me. Knowing his love for ham and bean soup, I gave him the good news that I intended the bone to stay with him. He was a happy camper. I got to take ham and smoked turkey leftovers along with one slice of the pecan pie I made. Kevin ate that for breakfast, our preferred time of day for pecan pie!
