Hello from WA state & my new Chalet!

I just tumbled for a new 2019 Chalet 1953xl after months of trying to decide between another trailer and something a bit smaller. I had a 19' double axle Nash (1998) for about 12 years and passed it on to my nephew. I was looking at a Lance, but ultimately chose the Chalet for ease, convenience and excellent fit & finish. The big plus is it fits in my garage, saving me around $100 a month in storage. Also I now have a 6 cylinder diesel SUV and this is a super easy pull. Biggest challenge is finding some kind of awning set up (looking at the Pahaque, but it's expensive and reviews indicate weak poles). So here I am and I'm ready to camp and boondock.

With that rig, I think I would carry as E-Z Up canopy rather than an attached awning. Set it up alongside if you want an awning-like cover, or place it elsewhere on the campsite if you need shade or rain protection elsewhere (like over the picnic table).
