Hi everyone. Just getting started and ran across your site - lot of good info. In the process of finding an RV and setting up a one year budget for full time travel.  Going to take some time off and enjoy a little sightseeing. Look forward to meeting other adventurous folks along the way. Would like to ask a few questions about finding an RV and life on the road. Good to meet you folks.  Thanks ? Gilbert

Hello Gilbert and welcome to The RV Forum.

The most common advice is generally, floor plan.  Look at different floor plans until you find one you like.  Then begin the serious shopping.  RV shows provide a good opportunity to see many different floor plans, but leave your check book and credit cards at home.  We will be here for you when you have questions.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome!  Still doing research, but have narrowed it down to a short class C with an overhead bunk (22? range) - or a B - but would prefer not sleep on a jackknife sofa for a year.  Not going to pull a toad so will need to use it as transportation and living quarters. Hoping to find something in the $20k range with a few good miles left. Any advice on specific models to search for would be much appreciated!
