Just saying hi - we just purchased our RV, a 1996 Winnebago Grand Tour. We are heading on a trip west from Toronto to BC via the US, then south to California for the winter with our 3 boys in tow. They are 9, 7 and 4. We previously travelled with a Jayco pop-up so we have a lot to learn  :)

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to The RV Forum.

You are in for some swell times, but you already know that.  Even though you are an experienced camper you may have some questions or seek a bit of technical advice.  this is the place for both.  If you don't find what you need in our library just post here and we will get back to you.

Participation in our discussions is recommended........... It is a good way to meet some great people.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum.  If you're not planning on driving south to at least the I-40 before heading west, you may hit some significant snow as you come out of the Plains and travel into the mountain states.  It's beautiful, taking the northern route, but be mindful of storms.  Even the Plains can be challenging in late October and November.  Good luck with your new motorhome.
