Good Morning,

I am currently looking for a camper, I have made the posts in travel trailers. But I wouldn't mind a pop up camper either. I have a few questions about them.
1) I would like one with highwalls because I like the fact that it increases storage and sometimes means more amenities. Is there any reason to avoid this(I know it adds weight)
2) How long does the typical pop up last and what usually goes wrong with them.
3) Is there brands to avoid when it comes to popups? What is the best?
4) Do popups let water in? Or are they pretty waterproof(as long as regular maintenance is done)
5) What would I have to look for wear and tear wise when buying a used one?

The biggest problem with popups is mildew from being put away wet. If you must put it away wet to go back home, open it up in your yard as soon as you get home and don't close it up until everything is dry.

Good Morning,

That makes a lot of sense. Say I forget and mildew forms. What would that do to the popup and how do I fix and get rid of it?
Sorry that I am needy!

Thank you,
