Perhaps on a 17 year old Volvo, but I doubt you are going to find a legit deal on current body style Mercedes convertible, even if it was a used trade in, etc.

I am not trying to make things political, I am not taking any stance on the need for food stamps, just pointing out rampant abuse I witnessed in a couple of decades in the food business. Having said that I feel I have made my point, and those that come up with imaginative stories to explain food stamp recipents driving new Mercedes, BMW's etc., buying nothing but expensive steak, shrimp and catfish so be it.

To put the original question to rest regarding the indigents using cell phones, the government funded "Lifeline" program and the newer "Affordable Connectivity Program" is the answer.
