The forum owner and the folks who manage it all read the forum daily or better.. I do not happen to be one of them.

What's an Expendable?  I've heard of hybrid cars, but not RV's.

I think it was a typo and should be expandable.

Hybrids and expandable are a combination of a fold up/down and a trailer; They come in a number of different flavors and sizes. Some examples here.

Thanks, Tom.  I should have figured that one out myself, but Hybrid brought to mind gas/electric drive trains, which took my train of thought even further off track!  Thanks for the link.  I've not really been exposed to that genre of RV before.
