Icemaker in norcold fridge

I've read the forums for winterizing and I still don't understand how to cycle my icemaker to get the water out of the line when winterizing. I ran antifreeze to the solenoid at the back of the fridge. Then disconnected the line from the solenoid to the icemaker to drain it. Am I missing something. ???

If you shut off the water supply to the icemaker a couple of days before winterizing it will continue making ice until it empties itself

Thanks for the reassurance on the icemaker. I'd hate to go get it from storage next month and start the season with a problem.
