One of our daughters gave us an Echo Show 8. It's so simple and convenient. We can play music, check the weather, search for recipes, news, and much, much more, and best of all we can see the people we're talking to. It's hard to explain. You have to experience it. BTW you can shut off the camera in case you're still in bed when they call.

I think everyone should have one but they will need an internet connection and the Echo device.

Does anyone else have one?

Yup! Awesome device. We use it several times a day - comes with us in the RV - will likely have to have a second one.

We've had the Echo Show for almost a year now, and our daughter has one as well, so we can have live video chats if we like.
