Indio FMCA 2014 Rally Jan 8-12

Well the rally wraps up today and  rigs will head out. I did NOT appreciate the diesel that pulled out at 6:22 am.  So loud!

But really if  I don't like it I should stay home.  It comes with the territory and it is amazing how the rigs dribble out and cause  little to no back up traffic.  We will head out to Anza Borrego for some  boon docking in the desert and Jeeping and maybe a hike or two. Another day , another adventure!

Was there any announcement as to how many coaches were there?

I believe they said around 1200 plus 130 display coaches and they sold 25.

Thanks Jim. Didn't realize the Mandrell Sisters played several instruments.

I just found a few clips on the Internet but they don't show everything they could do. Irlene also played the Xylophone but she wasn't as talented as her sisters. I just read the weekly TV show was so exhausting they canceled after two seasons.

2010 was the last one we made so have missed 4 in a row now.  That is a real bummer!!

Our last QZ rally was in 2011.  Only missed 2009 from 1997 on.

You guys are slackers ... I think our last one was 2006 maybe?  Still miss being there, too.  Oops, never mind.  I was thinking of Quartzsite, not Indio.
