Rookie DP owner.  Looking into fuel purchase plans.  looking for recommendations.  seems like at least some plans can offer substantial discounts.

thx to anyone taking the time to offer advice.

TSD fuel card. Only cost is 10% of any saving plus card use charge at some fuel stations of around 60 cents. You must use the commercial truck lanes to get discount. We have had the card a year, absolutely no issues.

^^ Yep what Tony said, according to this recent thread (with the same question) also: http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php/topic,130604.0

FMCA has just started a fuel discount program named TCS (not to be confused the TSD mentioned above).

The reports I have seen elsewhere claim that TSD has deeper discounts and does not require a pre-pay account as TCS does, but I have no experience with either one myself.

Good Sam has a fuel discount program with Pilot/Flying_J but it's a much smaller amount/gallon than TSD or TCS.

The Gas Buddy app is handy! It has a Gas Buddy pay card that provides discounts ranging from $0.05 - $0.25 /gal. Also shows you where fuel is, sorted by distance or price.
