Is there linoleum under my carpet?

I have a 1989 HitchhikerII. The carpet is in perfect shape but wife hates the color. Under sofa and tv stand is carpet with linoleum under it. Is it normal for manufacturer to put linoleum on whole floor and carpet over it where needed? If so, I can rip out carpet and have linoleum my wife might accept. Thanks in advance!

Back then it was fairly common - they put the linoleum down as the standard floor (usually even before the trailer walls were put on) and then installed carpet over it if ordered as an option. May even have been done at the dealer or later.

I went through the R-Vision factory a couple years ago and they laid insulation & floor material down. After that they had a big roll of linoleum that they covered the whole thing with. After that it was trimmed  and the walls put on without linoleum under them.
