We have a Thor 2016 31s Hurricane. We are on the road 10 hours from home in Nashville.
Where the house batteries are the isol relay melted. The relay is a intellitec potted B.I.R.D.gas 00-00956-000.
It started to melt when we were plugged into 110.
I shut off the 2 circuit breakers by the batteries. I'm plugged in to 110 and with my meter checking the batteries and voltage is 14.8 which is in charging range. When I unplugged the 110 line the voltage went down to 13.4 still in charging range. With the relay out
can I over charge the batteries?
Where can I find that part fast?
What would be a replacement part for this?
Has anybody had there relay melt?
What could cause this?

Several places online are advertising it, but whether they have stock is anybody's guess. Just have to check around.

I wouldn't replace it until I had some clue as to why it melted.  Guesswork suggests the amp load was too high, which suggests a shorted battery in one of the banks, or an actual shorted wire somewhere.
