In 2009 I was introduced to a professional photographer Lewis Kemper by my friend Ned Harris, who is also a professional. I spent a lot of time hanging out at Lookout Studio waiting for the Condors to arrive. Lewis was shooting only film cameras which surprised me. I mentioned this to his wife and she got all huffy and told me bluntly that Lewis will always shoot film and never shoot digital. Besides all the common reasons for not switching to digital she told me that photos had to be shot with film because none of the magazines Lewis contributed to would accept digital. He will always shoot film only, she said. Just out of curiosity I visited his web site and he is offering classes he teaches in using Photoshop and Lightroom. He is a damn good photographer no matter what the format is.
