Interested in this 2017 Navigator coach and wondered if anyone had any input on general quality, maintenance, service issues, etc. Also comments on design and operation. Any input appreciated. Currently own a Class C so being a bit cautious on a used DP.

The HR name has been owned by a number of different companies over the years.  Quality vaied from good to horrible to OK.  As with any used RV a thorough inspection is paramount.  Since there is probably no warranties left its going to be totally up to you to pay for everything.  What motor?  Many pushers are under powered, so just be aware of that.  Maintenance items like tires, belts, hoses etc will also likely need replacing before you hit the road.

There is not much we can say since HR has many models from many different periods. All the HRs I looked at were very nice. What you want to know is what kind of condition this specific RV is in. You need to hire an RV inspector for that.

The recent generation of HR Navigators is nothing like the same model from 1998-2008.  More of a low-mid range DP than the previous top-of-line luxury model. That doesn't mean it's a poor choice, just that you should be wary of comparisons to earlier years.  Evaluate it based on the specs for the current model and its condition, as you would any other.

Is it the smaller Navigator XE 2-slide model or the larger, 3-4 slide, 38 ft model?
