We are retiring our 2001 Roadtrek 190 and would like to duplicate the sleeping area. Also on our wish list is 4 or all wheel drive, solar, lithium and 3K converter. No generator or propane. We have not been able to find a model with this available.

The Ekko has the twin layout.

4wd on demand

I think this one is two wheel drive, but reviews seems to be pretty good.

Quigly converts E series and and other vans based things to 4x4. even some of the newer the 2wd van based units that can be had in AWD. You can get custom adventure style vans all over the lace as well. For a new Express, the 4x4 conversion is $14k, and used and chassis vans, it goes up. They might not do chassis vans with bodies already on them though. Not sure about that. The thing is though that you probably don't actually get nearly as much out of the 4x4 as you think you would. There is much more weight over the drive axles than the steer axles already. You might be better off with a selectable locker, good recovery points, maybe skid plates, more than normal ground clearance (possibly with air bags so only when needed) and some heavy duty recovery gear for those few times where 4wd would be that little bit extra that would save you.

you could really duplicate your 190 with one of the many Transit customizers. There are a ton of places that let you map it out with on-line builder your van web apps even.
