Lost Outlook capability

Well, yesterday we were doing fine and suddenly outlook began giving errors whenever we tried to send or receive email.  I can go to the escapee or compuserve web site and send and receive mail, but not via Outlook.  I am using Direcway6000.  Any ideas?  I did not change any Outlook settings.

Look at it as a sign to give you the opportunity to get rid of Outlook.  ;D  Have you tried Thunderbird. It looks and feels a lot like Outlook but is a much better email program and is much better security wise.

Well Thunderbird will have to wait.  I found the problem.  I had accidentally blocked a program in my Norton firewall.  :
