Yes, as Gary noted in post #18, there’s competition in the medical information storage/sharing business. I’m not promoting Epic over any others. I have many years work experience in the medical reimbursement field as well direct clinical medical delivery (bedside) experience. I only specified Epic because it’s what I know and rely on. I hired a couple of Epic employees away from Epic and, as a result, learned a bit about their business model/product.
As a nomad, having my primary care and specialist physicians (in Ohio) be Epic affiliated, seeking Epic affiliated providers on the road has worked well for me. I was only suggesting a possible option the OP might be find useful. Epic isn’t by any means the only one to provide this service, just the only one I have any experience with. (And my experience has been positive.)
