I have been looking at TT's and have come across an interesting ad for a "Montana Mountaineer".  Does anyone have experience with this product that they could share or any views on its quality.

This is a general question, however, the specific model I am looking at is a 2003 model 315RLS.

Any comments/advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Larry

I would suggest that you check the Montana Owners Club Forum at the website below. Lots of discussion re all aspects of the Montana line. For what it is worth, we own a 2005 Montana 3400RL (fifth wheel) and think it is incredible in terms of design, qualty, and manufactirer support from Keystone. We are also extremely fortunate to have a great dealer.

Information re the Mountaineer can also be found at:

Hope this is helpful

We have an 06 Mountaineer and are not real happy.  We now have a list of over 15 issues ranging from the A/C not working and a leaking shower to interior trim issues.  I think Keystone quality control was out to lunch when this unit came down the line.  Hopefully the dealer will come thru later this month when we take it in.  The unit does pull very nice - on the plus side.

We have a 2003 Montana Mountaineer 335RLBS purchased in 2002.? We have had excellent service from this coach with only one warranty issue, the frame on one of the recliners was crooked, and this was replaced by the nanufacturer of the recliner.? We have used the unit extensively including two summers of campground hosting. we have made several modifications to the coach as we intend to use it to fulltime.? Here is a link to the mods we have made: http://www.geocities.com/fulltimedreamer2004/rvprojects.html

Also, as mentioned above, visit the Montana Owners Club forum.? This site is not owned by Keystone, so any problems are discussed freely. http://www.montanaowners.com/

Had all the original problems (27) fixed by our dealer and am now working on a second list of 17 things.  Am really starting to give some thought to dumping this dog but my wife likes the bunkhouse arrangement which allows her (has insomnia) to sleep/read during the night without keeping me up.

Anyone know of a good brand 5er with a two bedroom layout?
