My previous toad was a 2012 Chevy Malibu and I installed the Original M&G Engineering braking system. Everything worked fine. When I replaced the Malibu with a 2017 Equinox, I wanted to use the Airforce One (AF1) braking system. I installed the AF1, but did not change the motorhome M&G installation. I just connected the system together. The braking system works fine.
The Airforce One motorhome system had an extra part consisting of an air tank and what looks like a valve. It has two input connections and one output connection. Since the original system worked I never installed the new part. Has anyone else used the same setup?
I am trying to get things correct , so would like to install the AF1 part. When I installed the system I called SMI and asked how to use the part with the M&G system and he said how to do it. I think he said to only make one hose change. I have forgotten what he said exactly.
Anybody familiar what to do?
