Living at the foot of the mountains here in Sacramento and the pass is open today but I'll bet it's chains required most of this weekend! Drive a 2012 F-250 Lariet FX-4, longbed with 6.7L diesel. We pull a 2013 Fox Mountain 235RLS 5th wheel.
We wanted something with the thermal pane windows, heated holding tanks, plumbing lines up in heated space, an all seasons trailer. We plan to full time as soon as we retire in about five years. We also wanted something that was going to last and it looks like pretty much anything built by Northwood (best known for Artic Fox) Mfg. has high ratings and customer satisfaction.
