You shouldn't need a new limit switch - it just needs to be reset and the cause of the high temperature determined and fixed. It could be a one-time thing, e.g. running off level, or it could be a serious cooling unit issue that will quickly re-appear.
L1Op can trigger from the main circuit board itself or an add-on "recall box" if yours is one of the older 121x models.
