Pahrump NV to Ely NV route

We will be going to ELY next month and need some advise on route. Planning on 95 N to 6E into ELY. Anyone travel this route , and suggestions. 35ft fiver.

I would take 93 to 318. It is an easy route. No passes.

Thanks for the reply. It looks to be about 50 miles longer to go that route. What kind of road is 318, narrow two lane road, desolate? How long ago did you travel that route?

50 miles longer via US93? My calculations show it being about 30 miles shorter.
Parump to Las Vegas on NV160, north on I-15 to US93 to NV318 to US6 into Ely. about 305 miles. Where US95 to US6 to Ely is about 335.

I have been on the US93 route a few years back but I wouldn't hesitate to take it tomorrow.

what ever the difference I would take ( and have taken ) the route to keep me from going thru LV.  Lived in Pahrump from 1997 to 2002.  Dick nvrver

Appreciate the responses but after doing some research I think I will take US95 to 6 due to all the traffic and construction in Las Vegas.
