When traveling I make things with paracord, bracelets, key rings, and such.

Bob, I know this is an old post (I even realized before the forum told me so!), but this interests me.  I have no idea where to get started (learn the knots, etc) or where to get the materials.  People sell these things too.  Law enforcement and military like them a lot.  Hope you see this.
