Photo Question

I know this has most likely been answered a dozen times - but I'm trying to post a photo and keep getting "file too large" kind of stuff. It's from my digital camera - is there a way to size it so I can post it?

A lot of us use Microsoft's resizer.  Google microsoft power toy resizer.  Its free.

MS Paint is another program that can resize easily.  Every computer with any version of Windows has it.  Open your photo in the program, select Image -> Stretch/Skew -> and then change the Horizontal and Vertical percentages equally to reduce the photo and subsequently the file size.  I have a 4 megapixel camera, and I usually reduce the photos to 20-30% for "comfortable" internet viewing size.    If you ever want to get actual prints made, keep the large files stored somewhere else and use those... the higher the resolution, the better quality the prints will be.
