Hi. My dogs banged the outside window while it was open which made it come loose from the crank. So I lifted the window up to see how to reattach it. Apparently I lifted it too high and it won’t budge down. I have photos but hard to see the problem. From underneath it looks like the left side has a wider gap than the right side. I don’t want to add to much pressure. Please help me as it’s wide open. Thanks so much !!

I’ll add that this is the lower half of the window. There’s a fixed window above so no screws on it too to just slide it out. I must be the only one ever to have this problem as no posts online anywhere are even close to this.

Wow! I actually solved this on my own after hours of panic. Feel free to delete but I thought I’d say how for the next person. I GENTLY took a screwdriver under the right side of the hinge and slightly lifted it as I also lifted the window, then it slid back into place. Hope that makes sense. Thanks anyway!!! Now to reattach the crank!
