How much space is the opening  between a slide roof and the RV side wall
The rubber roof has a small elongated bubble about a 1/4" high and 2" long. It is not broken, but I am thinking of putting a dab of self leveling Dicor over it just to protect it, but don't want it to hit the side wall when it is pulled in or out.

I don't see a problem there. Just keep an eye on it to see if it gets bigger.
If you're really concerned, get a couple of stainless steel screws with a wide head and with a thin head and screw them in. Then cover them with Dicor or Eternabond tape.
