Boat canvas and dock canvas doesn't last very long in the California sun, nor do isinglass windows. Can't imagine what happens in Florida.
Last time around, when we replaced the bridge curtains and the aft (cockpit) curtain, we went with smoke windows and black canvas, which didn't match some of the prior tan canvas stuff we had made. Not an issue until today ...
We decided to replace the isinglass (actually, Strataglass) that had seriously deteriorated during the summer. We have a "weather window" for the next 10 days, so today they removed the bridge curtains and installed the 'tonneau cover' we previously had made at the same time as tan canvas. It looks a little odd (tan v black), but will help protect the bridge while they replace the shot Strataglass with new Isinglass.
