This is the my first experience with owning an RV. I checked my winterized 5er this morning while preparing to leave Friday for Florida and found that the antifreeze in the toliet is frozen to a thick sludge form and glazed over on the top. Is this natural or should I be concerned. I tried to start my furnace but the propane tanks are also too cold and will not supply the furnace. I have kept the electric hooked to the RV from the house to keep the battery charged but I don't think that has an effect on keepting the water lines warm.

If the propane tanks are that cold, then temps are pushing minus 40 and it is normal for RV antifreeze (often called "Pink stuff" to slush up at those temps, in fact it may freeze solid. not being water it will not expand and crack pipes, toilets and the like so don't worry about it
