We are going to San Diego to Spring Break at Legoland and a few other things we like to do each time we are there. I have never looked for RV dealerships in the area and I would like to stop by a few and walk thru some floorplans while we are there this time. Does anyone know of some good RV dealerships in the area?

Thank you!
Josh

Josh,
There is a delership next to the Camping World in San Marcos (10 miles) but the really large dealershios are down towards San Diego in Lakeside, Santee or El Cajon.  Search "motorhomes" in those towns and you should get some hits.

We will be staying the first two nights next to Legoland then stay Wed night at the Naval Station San Diego. I'll search those locations online before we go. I did see some online the other day and the one's I saw had some pretty bad reviews. Have you had any experience with any of the dealerships in the areas you mentioned?

Holland is in San Marcos and a smaller lot in Santee.

RV Solutions and La Mesa RV are right next to each other and right off of Hwy 52 between 15 & 163 in Kearny Mesa

My folks just bought a new Winnebago Vista at La Mesa RV in San Diego and were pleased with the experience.  They had heard horror stories about them going in, but had no problems to speak of.

I believe La Mesa RV was one of the dealerships I read several negative reviews of before. We are going to stop by there next week while we are in the area and see how things go. Thanks for the feedback on your folks experience with them.

My parents were aware of that feedback and actually worked to purchase a coach at another dealer which was a terrible experience for them.  They went to La Mesa RV because they had the coach they wanted and questioned them about their negative reputation.  The salesman worked that much harder to ensure they had a smooth transaction.
