I would like to install a fixed roof Direct TV satellite dish on my MH. Can anyone tell me how involved this process is and if I would use my home receiver?

We have the Winegard Trav-Ler for Dish and very happy with it.I would get this antenna.

This base plate: https://www.amazon.com/Winegard-SKA-008-TRAVLER-Mounting-Plate/dp/B002T65XPA/ref=pd_sim_263_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B002T65XPA&pd_rd_r=SJ2XKGQ188CKK9YCP4MA&pd_rd_w=cykfA&pd_rd_wg=68QxU&psc=1&refRID=SJ2XKGQ188CKK9YCP4MA&dpID=319A5f7AsSL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail
Mounting the antenna is not difficult if you have the space for it. You will also need to run the control cable inside the RV, and you will need to run a single coax into the RV to connect to your receiver. If your current receiver is not SWM compatible, get one that is.

X3 -- it's excellent, but not in motion (only domes do this).Dragginourbedaround said:We have the Winegard Trav-Ler for Dish and very happy with it.
