If it acts up again spray the motor shaft with 3 in 1 oil or something to lube the shaft bushings. If it helps, it may be time for a new motor. It could also work for some time with a little lube. It won't hurt to try it and may prove what's wrong. It would seem that the motor would be the number one culprit for heavy amp draw
