I just bought a used 2003 Newmar Kountry Star, model KSCA 3740 and on this model if the drivers seat is not all the way forward the living room slide will contact the back of the seat and this causes the front of the slide to jump a tooth causing the front of the slide to close first but leaving the back of the slide out by 2 or 3 inches.
Judging by the old damage to the rear of the seat and the front of the slide this has happened to someone several times in the last 16 years.
I have looked inside and under the RV but can not figured out how to get the two ends in line. Can anyone send me instructions along with pictures on what to do, or do I need to take it to an RV shop to get the job done. Thank you, Geo
