stuttering while decelerating

I'm looking @ a 2002 Coachman (Ford chassis, 10 cyl. with 2 piece driveshaft) that runs smooth but a vibration occurs when decelerating. Good tires. 52K for $13,000. Any ideas what this might be?

First thought, if it's a high speed vibration, U-Joint or carrier bearing on driveshaft.

Check that u-joints are "clocked" (all in line). If two piece driveline has been parted, (maybe a tow) it's easy to get off one spline when putting it back together. I've seen them off 2-3 splines.  Will eventually eat u-joint but, if it hasn't been driven much, u- joints will still be tight.
