What type roof material is typically used on bumper pull type trailers ?
Are there brands that use fiberglass or aluminum or is EPDM the norm ?

All of your mentions are used, depending on mfgr., EPDM, TPO, fiberglass, metal/aluminum, there is a 5 one but can't recall its name. It will be disclosed in the sales brochure, which is available inline.

Ok how about this, who here owns one with a fiberglass or aluminum roof and what make is the trailer ?

Most RV manufacturers have different models with different roofing materials. Our Ultralite trailer is aluminum roof and skin to save weight. It was built by KZ but they also make models that have both TPO and EDPM roofing and fiberglass siding.

Cant speak for others but our EDPM has held up great for the last 7 years. The sealant used around the edges of the trailer roof, AC and vents has really held to the EDPM material very well.

Right, silicone sealant normally comes loose from hard surfaces first. That's why I don't use silicone sealants.
