Welcome aboard!

Take look at this thread --> Awnings in the wind . . .

DonTom had an awning failure in relatively light winds. He's been asking if other Entegra owners have the same sticker on their awnings in this post ---> Awnings in the wind . . .

Don't know if you have the same awning on the slightly bigger coach but their may be a cautionary tale here on that awning in moderate winds.

Always recognize, too, that even in apparently calm conditions, there are occasions when a sudden very strong gust can occur.

A few years back, I was with a group of RVers at Palo Duro Canyon (not the RV Forum trip), and while we were all gathered at one site eating supper in no more than a whisper of breeze, we all watched the sudden strong gust that came up take one trailer's awning and blow it up and across the top of the trailer. AND it was anchored with pegs in the ground roped to the edge of the awning.

It was all over in about 10 seconds, from start to finish, and there had been no hint of wind at any time before. So caution is always in order, since nature can, at time, be rather capricious.
