To re-coat or Not to re-coat???

I'm thinking about whether or not to re-coat our 2002 Cougar fiver's roof. It is a EPDM rubber roof. It does have slice in it where the satellite dish is. I am at the very least going to remove the satellite dish as we no longer have satellite and repair the slice, as I sealed around the current dish when I replaced the old one. That will need to be repaired, sealed and coated for sure.

Since I need to do that the question is do the whole roof or just the affected area?

It does not leak currently.

So you're going to wait until it leaks instead? What part of a 20 year old roof is not worn out?

My 2 cents replace entire membrane along with penetration and edge mouldings if you shop well this will cost about the same as dumping a bucket of gook on your existing roof and look well not like
