I have a Holiday Rambler Vacationer motorhome, 2006 model, been full-timing for 2 1/2 years.  Lately the toilet bowl is partially full when I come home from work (yes, still working), I'm guessing because the valve doesn't completely close when I take my foot off of the pedal.  Is there an easy fix for this, or is it time for mx?

The toilet is a Thetford Aqua-Magic Style Plus.

Is there an overflow on these, or will it eventually spill onto the floor?

Thanks!

Dave

Yes, the valve is leaking. It can be replaced, if you can squirm around behind the toilet to get at it. Some valves can be rebuilt (it's usually just an O ring that failed), but replacing the whole valve is the usual repair.

The Thetfords used to have an overflow hole under the rim. Don't know if they still do, since I haven't worked on one in 6-7 years (I have a Sealand toilet). They used to be a common source of odors leaking back into the coach after the P-trap dried out, so they may have eliminated it.
