When shopping for tongue jacks, what is the support capacity weight listed based on? I see most A-Frame jacks come in 1,000, 2,000, or 5,000 pound ratings.
I need a new A-Frame tongue jack for my 19' travel trailer which has a GVWR of 4,700 lbs. I've been using my Hi-Lift jack in the meantime. Thanks.
Edit: nevermind, further review says it's based on tonque weight. A 2K pound jack should be fine for me then.
