Is a Hensley hitch a weight distribution hitch ?
I've not personally inspected any, but I see multiple reports like this. And Lippert has a reputation for focusing on being the lowest cost RV component vendor, regardless of what that does for reliability and product lifetimes.Lippert products are marginal at best.
No, though most of the ones you see hauling RV travel trailers will be. Some examples of hitches that are not WD include the built-in ball mounts in pickup truck bumpers and the Class 1 & 2 hitches found on SUVs and some sedans.Aren't all hitches weight distribution,of some degree ??
Yes. The Hensley & Propride hitches include both WD and anti-sway.Is a Hensley hitch a weight distribution hitch ?
Can you name one? You may be talking about park models and those are not rv’s.Beware - a lot of RVs are meant to be parked, not driven.
Has anyone ever reinforced the hitch on a travel trailer ?
Lmao Hmmm travel trailers that dont travel, 5th wheels that are not meant to be pulled - interesting! The world has been doing it wrong for all these yearsBeware - a lot of RVs are meant to be parked, not driven.
